North Korea next successor
Kim Jong-Un started supporting his father as acting chairman of North Korea's National Defence Commission, the evening edition of the Mainichi Shimbun said, quoting unnamed sources close to North Korean leadership.
Kim Jong-Il has ruled the reclusive country, and held its two highest posts of defence commission chairman and secretary general of the Workers' Party of Korea, since his father, Kim Il-Sung, died in 1994.
As acting chairman, which is still considered informal, the 26-year-old son appears to be securing his succession to his father, 67, who reportedly suffered a stroke last August, the newspaper said.
"Mr. Kim Jong-Un appears clearly having been designated to succeed our general (Kim Jong-Il)," one of the sources said, according to the newspaper.
"Mr. Kim Jong-Un is now concentrating on the job of deputy chairman," the source said. "If something happens to our general, the chairman's position will be automatically taken by (Jong-Un)."
Little is known about the son, who was believed to have been schooled in Switzerland and was recently reported by South Korean intelligence officials to have been named as the eventual heir to the family dynasty.

Manny Pacquiao ranks 6th in the world’s highest-paid athletes
Pacquiao’s massive popularity in his native Philippines is why companies like Nike and San Miguel beer have signed him to endorse their products. Pacquiao intends to use that popularity to run for political office when his ring career is over.
Our 20 highest earners have a very international flavor with Pacquiao one of eight non-Americans on the list. Finnish Formula One driver Kimi Raikkonen earned $45 million over the past year, tied for second on our list with hoop legends Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant. Right behind that trio is global icon David Beckham who earned $42 million playing for the Los Angeles Galaxy and AC Milan, while shilling for Adidas, Giorgio Armani and Motorola.

Tom Cruise new Mission: Impossible sequel
The Hollywood Reporter and Daily Variety reported that Cruise, 46, was being lined up to co-produce a new instalment about the elite band of spies from the Impossible Missions Force (IMF), and could reprise his role as Ethan Hunt.
The three previous "Mission: Impossible" films -- derived from the 1960s television series have taken more than 1.4 billion dollars worldwide since the first picture was released in 1996.
However a fourth film starring Cruise was deemed unlikely after the actor ended a 14-year association with Paramount in 2006.
The split generated worldwide headlines after Sumner Redstone, the chief of Paramount's parent company Viacom, criticized Cruise, saying his "unacceptable" behavior had contributed to the company's decision.
However Redstone opened the door to a reunion last month when he said he would not be opposed to Cruise returning for a new "Mission: Impossible" film.
Cruise was most recently seen in World War II drama "Valkyrie."

Computer Finds New Math 'Jewel'
These primes are called the "jewels" of number theory, and it takes a huge computing system about two or three weeks to test a single number to see if it could lead to a Mersenne prime.
For those of you for whom basic math is a distant memory, a reminder:
Primes are numbers that are divisible by only the number 1 and themselves. So 2 is prime; so are 3, 5, 7 and so on. The year 2003 was a prime year, and 2011 will be as well.
Not Just Any Prime
Mersenne primes are a special class of prime, and they have a particular formula.
The formula for finding Mersenne primes.
The number n is a prime, and the result is prime. And what makes the Mersenne primes so interesting is how rare they are. And their gargantuan size.
Ancient Greek mathematicians were the first to describe Mersenne primes, and, up until now, only 46 had been discovered. This most recent one — though not the largest — is a whopper at nearly 13 million digits long.
It was found as part of the Great Internet Mersenne Prime Search, GIMPS. GIMPS involves tens of thousand of computers churning away, searching for new Mersenne primes.
In order to test potential primes, "not only do you have to multiply a 13 million digit number by a 13 million digit number, but you have to do that about 13 million times," says mathematician Chris Caldwell of the University of Tennessee.
"And that just takes a tremendous amount of computation."
The Bet
When I first reported on the Great Internet Mersenne Prime Search last April 10, I exhorted NPR listeners to download the search software and join the effort.
The new Mersenne was discovered by someone who was already a prime hunter. Odd Magnar Strindmo from Melhus, Norway, has been part of GIMPS since it began in 1996.
Now, finding a new Mersenne prime is exciting all by itself, but it is especially exciting because of a bet I made with George Woltman, who runs the Great Internet Mersenne Prime Search. I bet the next one would be found before 2012, helped along by all those NPR listeners who I hoped would download the program.
Woltman emailed me saying he felt a little silly losing the bet so soon. But I have a confession to make. I meant the next largest one; the 47th Mersenne prime is actually 141,125 digits smaller than one that was discovered last year.

Swine Flu vaccine developed as pandemic declared
The vaccine was made in cells, rather than grown in eggs as is usually the case with vaccines, the company said.
The announcement comes a day after the World Health Organization declared swine flu a pandemic. WHO says drugmakers will likely have vaccines approved and ready for sale after September.
Swine flu, also known as Influenza A(H1N1), is now formally a pandemic – a declaration by UN health officials that is expected to speed vaccine production and spur government spending to combat the first global flu epidemic in 41 years.
Last Thursday’s announcement by the WHO doesn’t mean the virus is any more lethal – only that its spread is considered unstoppable. The move indicates that a global outbreak is under way.
Novartis said it would use the first batch of vaccine for pre-clinical evaluation and testing. It is also being considered for clinical trials, the company said.
The vaccine was produced at a Novartis plant in Marburg, Germany. Novartis said the facility could potentially produce millions of doses of vaccine a week.
A second plant is being built in Holly Springs, North Carolina, the company said.
Novartis said more than 30 governments have requested vaccine supplies, including the US Department of Health and Human Services, which placed a $289-million order in May.
Since it was first detected in late April in Mexico and the US, swine flu has reached 74 countries, infecting nearly 29,000 people. Most who catch the bug have only mild symptoms and don’t need medical treatment.
WHO chief Dr. Margaret Chan made the long-awaited declaration after the UN agency held an emergency meeting with flu experts and said she was moving to phase 6 – the agency’s highest alert level – which means a pandemic is under way.
“The world is moving into the early days of its first influenza pandemic in the 21st century,” Chan said in Geneva.
Dr. Thomas Frieden, the new head of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), said in Atlanta that he does not expect widespread public anxiety in the United States as a result of the declaration, noting it came nearly two months after the virus was identified.
For many weeks, US health officials have been treating it as a pandemic, increasing the availability of anti-viral flu medicine and pouring money into a possible vaccination program. And scientists have grown to understand that the virus is generally not much more severe than the seasonal flu.
“That helps to tamp down any fears that may be excessive,” Frieden said at a news conference – his first as CDC director.
But the virus can still be deadly and may change into a more frightening form in the near future, and so people should not be complacent, he added.
So far, swine flu has caused 144 deaths, compared with ordinary flu that kills up to 500,000 people a year.
The pandemic decision might have been made much earlier if WHO had more accurate information about swine flu’s rising sweep through Europe. Chan said she called the emergency meeting with flu experts after concerns were raised that some countries, such as Britain, were not accurately reporting their cases.
Chan said the experts unanimously agreed there was a wider spread of swine flu than was being reported.
She would not say which country tipped the world into the pandemic, but WHO flu chief Keiji Fukuda said the situation from Australia seemed to indicate the virus was spreading rapidly there – more than 1,300 cases were reported by Thursday.
In Chile, authorities have identified almost 1,700 cases to WHO.
Many health experts said the world has been in a pandemic for weeks but WHO became too bogged down by politics to declare one.
WHO will now recommend that pharmaceutical companies make swine flu vaccine. The agency typically recommends which flu strains drug companies should use in the vaccines. In a global outbreak, WHO also advises whether companies should make pandemic vaccine.
The pandemic vaccine gamble
The decision to make pandemic vaccine is a gamble. Most flu vaccine makers cannot make both regular seasonal flu vaccine and pandemic vaccine at the same time. That means they must decide which one the world will need more.
Drug giant GlaxoSmithKline PLC said it could start commercial production of pandemic vaccine in July but that it would take months before large quantities are available.
Glaxo spokesman Stephen Rea said the company’s first doses of vaccine would be reserved for countries that had ordered it in advance, including Belgium, Britain and France. He said Glaxo would also donate 50 million doses to WHO for poor countries.
Pascal Barollier, a spokesman for Sanofi-Aventis, said they were also working on a pandemic vaccine but WHO had not yet asked them to start making mass quantities of it.
WHO described the pandemic as “moderate.” Fukuda said people should not get overly anxious about the virus. “Understand it, put it in context, and then you get on with things,” he said.
Still, about half of the people who have died from swine flu were previously young and healthy – people who are not usually susceptible to flu. Swine flu is also crowding out regular flu viruses. Both features are typical of pandemic flu viruses.
Swine flu is also continuing to spread during the start of summer in the northern hemisphere. Normally, flu viruses disappear with warm weather, but swine flu is proving to be resilient.
“What this declaration does do is remind the world that flu viruses like H1N1 need to be taken seriously,” said US Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius, warning that more cases could crop up in the fall.
Now that a pandemic has been declared, some countries might be prompted to devote more money to containing the virus. Many developed countries have pandemic preparedness plans that link spending to a WHO declaration.
The UN is keen to avoid panic. “We must guard against rash and discriminatory action, such as travel bans or trade restrictions,” said UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
Fear has already gripped Argentina, where thousands have flooded hospitals this week, bringing emergency health services in Buenos Aires to the brink of collapse during winter weather. Last month, a bus arriving in Argentina from Chile was stoned by people who thought a passenger had swine flu.
China has quarantined travelers, including New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin, on the slightest suspicion of contact with an infected person.
The US government has already increased the availability of flu-fighting medicine and authorized $1 billion for developing a new swine flu vaccine. In addition, new cases seem to be declining in many parts of the country, US health officials say, as North America moves out of its traditional winter flu season.
Still, New York City reported three more swine flu deaths Thursday, including a child under 2, a teenager and a person in their 30s.
“Countries where outbreaks appear to have peaked should prepare for a second wave of infection,” Chan warned.

Pinoy artist paintings in Vatican become fixtures
An article in the CBCP website (www.cbcpnews.com) said one of the paintings is displayed at the headquarters of the Vatican Radio, while two others are at the Propaganda Fide.
“Having the Amorsolo paintings at the Propaganda Fide also highlights the special missionary contribution of the Philippine Church in spreading the faith to other nations," the CBCP said.
Propaganda Fide is a congregation involved in missionary work and related missionary initiatives.
The first painting at Propaganda Fide entitled “El Primer Bautizo En Filipinas," dated April 1949, depicts the baptism of Rajah Humabon of Cebu in 1521.
The other painting is “La Fe Ante Las Ruinas," which is dated May 1949. It shows a religious procession in honor of Our Lady of Antipolo in front of church ruins after the liberation of Manila from Japanese forces in 1945.
The CBCP said these two paintings are not as well-known as the paintings of the Italian masters in Rome like Raphael, Michelangelo, Caravaggio, and Fra Angelico.
“Even with this limitation, the Amorsolo paintings should be a source of honor and consolation to Filipinos. The theme of faith as depicted by Amorsolo in his two paintings continues to be practiced today by our Filipino migrants who comprise around 50 religious communities in Rome," it said

US writers honor M Pacquiao as 2008 Fighter of the Year
Manny Pacquiao, who received the 2008 Fighter of the Year award Friday evening in New York, will join the ranks of Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier, Sugar Ray Leonard and Evander Holyfield if he continues to shine in 2009.
Ali, Frazier, Leonard and Holyfield are so far the only fighters to have won the award three times since the Boxing Writers Association of America started giving the award in 1938, the year heavyweight Jack Dempsey won it.
No fighter in history has won the BWAA top plum four times.
Listed as two-time winners are Carmen Basilio, Floyd Patterson, Dick Tiger, George Foreman, Thomas Hearns, Marvin Hagler, Mike Tyson, Pernell Whitaker, James Toney and Pacquiao, now the reigning IBO light-welterweight champion.
Ali won the award in 1965, ‘74 and ’75, sharing it with Frazier following their classic Thrilla in Manila battle. Frazier also won it in 1969 and ’71. Leonard was tops in 1976, ‘79 and ’81, and Holyfield in 1990, ’96 and ’97.
BWAA president Jack Hirsch, in a report that came out of philboxing.com, said Pacquiao’s sensational victory over Ricky Hatton last May 2 just made him an early candidate for the 2009 award.
Pacquiao is scheduled to fight in October, and whether it’s against Floyd Mayweather Jr., Miguel Cotto or Shane Mosley, another victory may just seal it for the 30-year-old pound-for-pound champion.
Pacquiao has also talked about retirement, and philboxing.com added that Roach, who received his third Trainer of the Year award (after 2003 and ’06), had said two more fights and that should be it.
Pacquiao almost missed gracing the BWAA awards night at the Capitale in New York, and had to take a late flight to the Big City from Manila Friday morning. He was in New York just hours before the 7:30 p.m. affair.
In his acceptance speech, where he spoke fluently in English, aided by a teleprompter, Pacquiao said it was “a great honor” to be chosen as the top fighter for 2008.

Microsoft free anti-virus software service for personal computer
The world's biggest software maker Microsoft Corporation is now testing an early version of the product with its own employees. Soon Microsoft will going to make a trial version, or product beta, available via its website.Three years ago, Microsoft entered that market with Live OneCare, which turned out to be a commercial flop. It announced plans in November to kill that product suite, saying it would launch the free Morro service by the end of 2009.
Code-named Morro after Brazil's Morro de Sao Paolo beach, amid concern it could hurt sales of products from Symantec and McAfee, which generate billions of dollars of revenue a year protecting Windows PCs from attacks by hackers.
Their top-selling products are security suites that come with features including encryption, firewalls, password protection, parental controls and data backup. Analysts said they are looking forward to Morro's beta to see exactly how its features compare to those in products from competitors.
Microsoft has said it will provide protection from several types of malicious software including viruses, spyware, rootkits and trojans.

The Orlando Magic take the Game 3 and now pursue in Game 4 of 2009 NBA Finals. After over Los Angeles Lakers at 108-104. But Los Angeles Lakers still lead the series 2-1. Can Orlando dominate Game 4 in their own home court, let find out in 2009 NBA Finals Game at 9:00 pm EDT Thu Jun 11, 2009 Los Angeles Lakers vs Orlando Magic.
But in Game 3 of the NBA finals on Tuesday night, Bryant, looking tired and mortal, gave new life to the here-they-come-again Orlando Magic, who shot a finals record 63 percent in a 108-104 win over the Los Angeles Lakers and snapped an 0-for-6 franchise mark in the finals.
Following Games 1 and 2, it appeared this series matching one of the league's most famed franchises and a relative upstart would be a brief one. The Magic had made their way to their first finals since 1995 on the strength of Dwight Howard's inside game and superior outside shooting. But in L.A., Orlando was just O.K.
Miss California Carrie Prejean fired
"The Miss California USA Organization, in conjunction with the Miss Universe Organization and with the blessing of its owner, Mr. Donald J. Trump, announced today the termination of Carrie Prejean as Miss California USA 2009, citing continued breach of contract issues," the Miss California Organization said in a statement to Access Hollywood.
Prejean made headlines when she said in the question-and-answer portion of the Miss USA pageant that she didn't support the right of gays and lesbians to marry. She later claimed that her answer lost her the crown. Miss California pageant organizers soon said that Prejean was making herself unavailable for personal appearances while appearing to work with an anti-gay marriage group and making the media rounds to talk about her stance. Then pictures of a mostly-naked Prejean popped up on the web. Trump stepped in and dismissed the furor over the picture as so 20th century, and said he supported Prejean's right to free speech.
Shanna Moakler, a former Miss USA and Lewis' co-director, resigned from her post after Trump spared Prejean. Now she tells Usmagazine.com: "First and foremost, my faith has been restored in the Miss Universe Organization and with Donald Trump. I believed eventually what I intimately knew would come to fruition."

Powerade Team Pilipinas secured SEABA crown
All 10 Filipino players scored at least seven points each in a well-balanced and torrid offense which the Indonesians just couldn’t match.
A member of the Indonesian coaching staff in the 2007 Tokushima Fiba Asia Olympic qualifier, Hadinoto noticed the RP squad employing a different system now.
“The system is different from before. They’re pressing and running more. I think they can perform better this time using the system done by other teams in the Fiba Asia,” said Hadinoto.
For the record, the Nationals won twice by an average margin of 34.5 points over the Indonesians who will be the other Southeast Asian team competing in the Asian joust in Tianjin, China in August.
In the rematch, Indonesia managed to make it close in the first 17 minutes with a determined stand while egged on by the flag-waving and cheering home crowd at the Angkasapura Lanud Basketball Hall.
The hosts were down by only three at 32-35 before the Filipinos finally hit their stride and stepped on the gas, zooming to a 31-point lead, 74-43, towards the end of the third period.
The combination of Jarred Dillinger, Cyrus Baguio, Gabe Norwood, Mick Pennisi and Asi Taulava worked for that breakaway before Ranidel de Ocampo, James Yap, Willie Miller, Arwind Santos and Mick Pennisi took over to give the Nationals their biggest spread at 91-54.
As the Nationals relaxed a bit, the Indonesians took advantage, coming through with a run that again sent the home crowd to a frenzy.
The highly appreciative crowd even cheered Dillinger as the versatile Fil-Am crowd banged in a two-handed jam off an alley-oop by Norwood to close out the scoring.
As in their first three games, the Nationals struggled in three-point shooting, converting only four of 19 attempts.
“Our three-point shooting was way below our expectations. We have good shooters but for one reason or another, we’re not shooting well from the three-point area,” said Guiao.

Watch Pittsburgh Penguins vs Detroit Red Wings Game 6 NHL Stanley Cup Live Stream Online Video
If the Red Wings win this Game 6 on Tuesday, a year and five days after winning their last one there, it will be more than an image to the Penguins. It will be an instant replay.
The Red Wings have been dominant at home in the playoffs, winning eight straight games to raise their postseason record at Joe Louis Arena to 11-1. That is one short of the NHL record for home wins in one playoff year, set by New Jersey in 2003. Detroit’s lone home loss was in triple overtime to Anaheim in Game 2 of the second round. One of the keys is being able to get the right matchups with the last line change.
Not since Montreal clinched in Boston in 1977 and 1978 has a team won the Stanley Cup in the same opponent’s building two seasons in a row, but the Red Wings will gladly take another clincher in Pittsburgh if it means avoiding an ever-dangerous Game 7.
The Penguins’ problem is the Red Wings are in a much better position. Two-way star Pavel Datsyuk’s(notes) return after missing seven playoff games with a foot injury gave them a big lift in Game 5, and many of their players have been in games like this before.
One more loss and the Penguins’ season is over for 2009 Stanley Cup Finals.

The Magic nearly returned from Los Angeles with the best-of-seven series tied. Instead, they’re down 2-0, and now Bryant has a promise for Game 3 on Tuesday night.
As Kobe Bryant has changed his look for the next round of NBA Finals 2009.
Gone is the teeth-baring, nose-flaring, eyes-on-the-prize scowl that the Los Angeles Lakers star showed again and again in Game 1 of the NBA finals. The intensity diminished after Game 2, his expression morphing into one of relief and sheer luck.
For all the bravado, the Lakers can be careless, a team with holes and an inability to finish off an opponent as a champion must. They let Houston extend a series despite the absence of Yao Ming. Denver outmuscled and outhustled a Lakers team that seemed to lose its enthusiasm until Game 6 of the conference finals.
Los Angeles believes those days are over.
One of the streakiest teams in the league all season, Orlando has shot well at home. It plays with a carefree attitude, and Bryant says that’s reason to be wary.

Shane Mosley wants to fight Manny Pacquiao
But some issues with the weight came up. Pacquiao’s trainer, Freddie Roach, dared Mosley to come down to 142. Mosley said he won’t or can’t fight lower than 145.
Shane Mosley is one of the oldest champions out there and willing to fight pacman at 142 pounds.
“There are conflicting reports from the Pacquiao camp an upcoming fight between me and Manny Pacquiao. I want it to be known that I want to fight Pacquiao and I want to fight him now,” Mosley was quoted.
“I’m willing to meet at a catch weight to make that happen. I know this is what Freddie Roach wants as well, as he has previously stated this to press,” he said.
A catch weight could mean 143 lbs, give and take. But whether or not Mosley’s 147 lb title would be at stake is a different matter. What’s important to him is the fight.
“I am the best fighter in boxing and I am ready to reclaim the title of number one pound-for-pound fighter,” said Mosley who showed the quickness of a fighter 10 years younger when he stunned Margarito.
Pushing 38, Mosley is seven years older, and at 5-foot-9, almost three inches taller than Pacquiao, the reigning pound-for-pound champion and the sport’s biggest draw today.
Arum has penciled Oct. 17 as the date of Pacquiao’s next fight -- whoever, wherever.
Mosley is under Oscar dela Hoya’s Golden Boy and Pacquiao under Bob Arum’s Top Rank. The two giant promoters were at odds a couple of years back, but have proven to be great partners, too.
They staged the Pacquiao-Dela Hoya fight and some big ones before that as well, and only last month came up with the Pacquiao-Hatton show.
Arum said it’s up to Pacquiao and Roach to decide and as of now they’re looking at Mosley, who may have moved on top of the list, Miguel Cotto, who faces Josh Clottey in New York on June 13, or Edwin Valero.
Floyd Mayweather Jr., the comebacking ex-pound-for-pound king, takes on Juan Manuel Marquez on July 18, and should only be considered a Pacquiao opponent for next year.
If Mosley wants it, he might just get it.

This year, nothing short of a 15th title will do for the Lakers and with the sensational Bryant out front, they may be on their way.
Bryant’s 40 were a career high in the finals, and it was the 10th time he has scored 40 or more in the playoffs. … Van Gundy said the toughest part of his decision to play Nelson was telling guard Tyronn Lue(notes) he would be inactive. … Bryant is ranked as the world’s 10th biggest celebrity by Forbes. Bryant was the second highest ranked athlete, trailing only Tiger Woods, who was No. 5. According to the magazine, Bryant made $45 million in salary and endorsements this year. … With 206 playoff wins, Jackson trails only Hall of Fame hockey coach Scotty Bowman (223) for the most wins in postseason history. … Van Gundy drew a huge laugh before the game when he was asked if he was frightened by facing Jackson and his fingers full of nine NBA rings. “I guess if one of the NBA players threatened to kick my butt, I’d be intimidated,” Van Gundy said. “Phil sitting down there on his chair doesn’t intimidate me.”

Forbes World’s Top Most Powerful Celebrity 100
Forbes Celebrity 100 - The world's most powerful celebrities.
Angelina Jolie grabbed the No. 1 spot from the talk show queen on the magazine's annual Celebrity 100 list, which ranks the rich and famous based on media exposure and career earnings over the past year.
Angelina Jolie has dethroned Oprah Winfrey as the world's most powerful celebrity, a reigning tabloid fixture, earned $27 million, bumping her up from third place on last year's list, Forbes said, adding that she wields more power due to high-profile turns in hit films such as "Wanted" and "Kung Fu Panda."
At No. 2, Winfrey is still the highest earner — $275 million.
Madonna came in third, trailed by Beyonce, Tiger Woods, Bruce Springsteen and Steven Spielberg.
Two other celebs tied up in Jolie's tabloid universe — Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt — came in at eighth and ninth place, respectively.
Tenth place goes to Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant, thanks in part to endorsement deals scored after the Beijing Olympics.
The primary reason celebrities are still making big money: Many stars are locked into long-term performance and endorsement contracts. If the economy does not improve, expect the downturn to catch up to the A-list next year.
The Celebrity 100, which includes film and television actors, models, chefs, athletes, authors and musicians, is a measure of entertainment-related earnings and media visibility (exposure in print, television, radio and online). The earnings estimates consist of pre-tax income between June 2008 and June 2009. Management, agent and attorney fees are not deducted.
The Celebrity 100 is a measure of power based on money and fame. Earnings estimates, which include income from films, television shows, endorsements, books and other entertainment ventures, are calculated between June 2008 and June 2009. Figures were rounded off where appropriate. Sources include Billboard, Pollstar, Adams Media Research, Nielsen SoundScan, Nielsen BookScan, Nielsen Media Research and SNL Kagan. Watch Orlando Magic vs Los Angeles Lakers Game 1 NBA Finals 2009 Online
In Game 6 of the Eastern Conference finals, Howard scored 40 points with 14 rebounds as the Magic finished off Cleveland and sawed the Kobe Bryant-LeBron James dream finals matchup in half.
Los Angeles would seem to have everything history, experience, star power, coaching, A-List celebrities over Orlando.
Yet the Magic, making their first appearance in the finals since 1995, won both regular-season matchups against the Lakers and are capable of an upset.
From the moment Bryant dejectedly walked off the floor in Boston last June following L.A.'s 39-point loss in Game 6, he has been focused on a return. He helped restore U.S. basketball's world supremacy by leading the Americans to an Olympic gold medal in China last summer.
The Lakers have won 14 titles. Orlando, 0. The Lakers have won 61 finals games. Orlando, 0.

Watch Detroit Red Wings vs Pittsburgh Penguins Game 4 Live Online on June 4.
The yuk-it-up Penguins trail the defending champion Detroit Red Wings 2-1 going into Game 4 on Thursday night, but it was difficult to tell from their off-day levity that they weren’t ahead.
The teams might indeed be the same, but it would be a mistake to suggest this is merely a replay of last season's Stanley Cup finals. Both the Detroit Red Wings and the Pittsburgh Penguins have undergone significant change, and those changes, especially for the injury-riddled Wings, will continue until the puck drops in Saturday's Game 1.
Detroit Red Wings and the Pittsburgh Penguins are not acting at all like they did when they were down a game in this same situation last year, against the same opponent.
