Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean, and Lady Antebellum lead the pack of nominations with 3 nominations each, all including Video of the Year.
CMT turns the fate of the 2010 CMT Music Awards over to the fans as it announces finalists and opens up voting for country music's only fan-voted awards show. The fans have already began voting since April 5, CMT.com fans can vote for their favorite videos to determine the final nominees for CMT's ninth annual awards show.
