First Pinoy played in NFL pro football

Eugene Amano of the Tennessee Titans, National Football League(NFL), was the first Filipino professional football player. Born in Manila, Amano's family moved to San Diego when he was 2 months old. He started playing football at highschool landing a scholarship in at Southeast Missouri State. He spent his first 4 season in the NFL as a backup. Last season Amano became a full time starter for the Titans.
