Nonito Donaire Jr. also known as "The Filipino Flash" is one of the 10 best fighters in the world. He is starting to get his spotlight, headlining his second consecutive pay-per-view card Saturday night. Currently Nonito Donaire Jr. holds the IBF and IBO World Titles in the Flyweight division. Donaire's latest title defense came against Luis Maldonado of Mexico on December 1, 2007 where he scored an 8th round TKO against the tough-chinned Mexican. He is getting busier, fighting for the second time in 2009 after fighting only once in 2008. And he is climbing the weight classes, moving up to junior bantamweight where he will find an opponent, Rafael "El Torito" Concepcion, who is some kind of threat to him, as well as a fighter whose style makes for exciting boxing matches. What he isn't getting: fights that are as big as his talent, on stages that are worthy of his skill.

Nonito "The Filipino Flash" Donaire Jr. battles Rafael "El Torito" Concepcion of Panama for the WBA interim world Super Flyweight title and Luevano defends his WBO world Featherweight belt against No. 1 contender Bernabe Concepcion from the Philippines.
