She dropped plans for her lively routine featuring songs including her hit maker Poker Face and instead opted for a muted acoustic routine. The star sang a mix of some of her lesser known tracks, including Telephone and Dance In The Dark. Gshe sang solo sitting at her grand piano. Wearing the Marie Antoinette-style wig she arrived in and said before she performe 'This is for Alexander McQueen'.
During that evening of awards Lady Gaga swept the U.K.'s Brit Awards by winning three categories and offering an emotional tribute to Alexander McQueen, the British fashion designer who died last week.
Lady Gaga collected awards for best international female artist, best international breakthrough act and best international album for "The Fame". Other artist like Dizzee Rascal won for the best British Male Solo Artist and Lily Allen won the award for British Female Solo Artist. Another artist Robbie Williams, who won the Outstanding Contribution Award brought the show to a close performing a medley of his hits.
