Meanwhile, the Oakland Raiders are 1-4 and coming off a 44-7 drubbing at the hands of the New York Giants. They'll try to improve upon that performance against another NFC East foe this Sunday when the Eagles come to town. The Raiders field a roster littered with high first-round picks that have yet to prove their worth and have had a tumultuous season off-the-field as well, with allegations of fisticuffs among the coaching staff. If the first five weeks of the season are to be an indication of things to come, the Eagles would appear to be in for another romp. But anything can happen in the National Football League, and the Eagles will need to come prepared if they expect to have a happy cross-country flight home Sunday night, October 18, 2009.
